... I found out that Asylum 18 was being held at BLACKPOOL!!!!!



No offence to anyone that was born or raised in or around Blackpool, but seriously??!!??

I've only ever been to Blackpool once in my life, and that was because - I went to Blackpool.

I swore blind I'd never go back.

So I've got a six hour train journey ahead of me if I want to go to the con; there's no way I'm driving - I like my wheels where they are.

The minis, those unsupportive little gits, have already told me they're washing Sam's hair that weekend - All ten of them!!!!

Birmingham is one hour by plane, for Blackpool I'd need to fly to Manchester and then go by train.

Maybe we can share a room, but I still have to think about which con to visit: JiB or A18. And then they'll sell tickets for Purcon3 in February and just about EVERYBODY wants money from me *throws hands in air*

I'll be working next May (I hope) so I won't be able to attend both cons abroad. I wanted to skip on JIB, but now with the new venue... IDK. It wouldn't be too bad if we could have a fangirl meet-up next year though.

Oh I'm sure we can arrange a couple of fangirl meet ups ourselves. Us UK bods are trying to meet up every couple of months regardless.
