Fanfiction Writers' Appreciation Day

Yesterday was Fanfiction Writers Appreciation Day and it's fantastic to have the opportunity to thank all the great writers we have floating around in this deep pool of talent that we call the Supernatural Fandom.

I think it's fair to say that pretty much the only reading I've done in the last couple of years is fanfiction, and that is because it's wonderful and fascinating, and whether it be J2, Destiel, Wincest, Casefic, Crack, or my personal favourite, Hurt Comfort, I can't get enough of it.

As a general rule, I try to comment on everything I read; as a fanfiction writer, I know exactly how some nice supportive feedback can make your day, and it gives me deep joy to return that favour whenever I can.

So here's a list of some of the fabulous, talented writers that I really love to read; you guys have given me endless hours of enjoyment, and I hope you will continue to do so, so here's a big thank you from me.

I have lots of other great writers on my F-list, and I may not have got round to reading all of them yet, but there's plenty of time ... I think it's safe to say that the only reading I'm going to get done over the next couple of years will be Fanfiction as well  :)

How flattering to be on your list. I'm the same as you, haven't read much besides fanfiction ever since I discovered it several years ago. And when I do read something other than fanfiction, I usually get bored and jump back into fanfiction as quickly as possible. You're right, there are so many talented fanfic writers!!! I'm amazed by our fandom. Thanks sweetie!
