Date: 2011-06-02 06:25 am (UTC)There are loads of free brushes of wings btw, if you wanted to go that step farther in his anglification... I download most of my brushes from www.brusheezy.com or www.brushking.com. The trick is to do the brushing on a new layer.

Date: 2011-06-02 07:38 am (UTC)I haven't quite sussed out 'layers' yet. I was playing with them when I did this, but the picture kept going black. In my first picture I used a tool called 'multiple' to get the stormy background but I'm not sure if that constitutes using layers.
Gradually fumbling my way around ... :)
