Such perceptive observations. I never thought before about how much what we're shown in that scene contradicts the speech Dean gives Sam. A point is made of the knife, of course, but I'd never thought about what the sheets knotted round his feet meant. I guess 'cause when that happens to me it just means I'm hot. But, of course, this episode was set in winter, wasn't it?

Maybe I'm not very observant.

Maybe my mind was just on other things before :P

That's so sad and so true. Poor Dean, he needs a well-padded woman to cuddle him at night and keep the terrors at bay - I volunteer!

This is such a great visualization of our sleeping boy. At rest, but really never completely at rest. no wonder he is tired.
