The Alpha Male competition is down to the final sixteen, and all three of our boys are in the running!

Misha is in game 2, Jensen  is in game 5 and Jared is in game 8.

Jensen's holding his own against the great and mighty Benedict Cumberbatch, but will need all your help against such a formidable opponent.  So get those trigger fingers working overtime - yes, we love Benedict, but on this one occcasion, we want Sherlock to be playing second fiddle to the one, the only, the genuine Alpha Male!

Jared and Misha look like they will have a tougher time getting past this round. They are both up against strong fandoms.

In looking ahead there are two competitors that I am concerned about. One, that beastly Jay Ryan from BaTB (not sure why this show is even still on the air, it is just ghastly); and secondly a newcomer, Sam Heughen from Outlander. The voting for them has been strong and they have easily beat out their competitors in the previous rounds. Of course, I'm not quite sure if it is the fandoms strength or the fact they have gone up against others where the fandom might just not be as strong. In anticipation of coming up against either of these two in the end, I also continue to vote against them, not that it will make any difference, but if enough of us do that, you never know.

P.S. I love your description above about Jensen (when heartbreak and ovary incineration collide) Too funny, and couldn't agree more.

Huh. Jared and Misha are actually losing, though only by very small margins. Of course, it is Once Upon a Time and The Walking Dead they're going up against, both shows with very loyal fandoms (I watch TWD myself).

Jensen, however, is currently trumping Cumberbatch 66% to 33%, though that could change.

Keep up the great work! I must admit I'm a little concerned about Sam Heughan from Outlander, I think those fan girls are nearly as nutty as we are!

But I will battle on and keep voting for our guys (especially Jensen), let's make Jensen the alpha again this year.

Yes, Sam Heughan is winning by a huge margin, but then I don't know that guy he's up against - maybe that's a weak fandom. All we can do is keep on voting for our boy :)
