Nablopomo 2023 - Day 2

I joined Lj in December 2010. I had discovered Supernatural a year previous and had dipped a toe into Spn fandom waters during 2010. A couple of people I had met on line had recommended LJ as THE place to be if you wanted to meet like-minded fandom peeps and I wasn't disappointed, I think I've met almost all of my closest real life fandom friends either here or at Fanfiction.net.
I can truly say my fandom life really started in earnest when I joined LJ.
My username over on Fanfiction.net is Dizzo, which is a play on my surname. That was my first online home. I was going to use the same here, but it turned out there already is a dizzo. How rude! So that's how I became dizzojay (as most of you know, my first name is Jane, so that's where the jay comes from).
I've no desire to change my username. I think I'm fairly universally known throughout fandom as diz, dizzo or dizzojay, so that's how I'll stay!
