Mum's birthday
Feb. 6th, 2023 08:48 pmSo, as you know, I've been planning a few special things for my Mum's 80th birthday which is the 4th of April, but is actually being celebrated on the 1st of April (she just doesn't know that yet!)
I spent ages looking for something unique and (hopefully) tasteful for her, and I found something that I thought was so perfect, I couldn't buy it quick enough.
It came this morning, and I couldn't be happier with it!
It's a gold pendant with eight intertwined rings - each ring signifies a decade, and all the rings are different: gold, silver, different pattern etc to signify that each decade is different. The stone in the middle is her birthstone - April is diamond (isn't that just bloody typical) and because I obviously can't afford a diamond that size, this is a crystal instead!
I love it so much, and can't wait to give it to her!
