Happy Post: So, that was Darklight 4 con
Mar. 21st, 2022 09:20 pm Darklight 4 was supposed to take place in Summer 2020, but for reasons which I don't need to bore you with, has been postponed and rearranged multiple times. Finally... FINALLY! It happened this weekend in Paris, at the Hilton Charles de Gaulle airport, and it really didn't disappoint!
There was a fabulous air of fun and positivity around the whole event. Emotions were running high, and I don't mind admitting that I shed a few tears two or three times at the event. But they were happy tears!
My trip to Paris was my first flight for three years, and it just felt so good to be on a plane again.
I met my friend, Wendy, at the Hotel. I know Wendy from JIB. She's from Belgium, and we've been JIB roomies (not including the whole Covid fiasco), for about six years. Wendy introduced me to Darklight Con, and I'm so glad she did!
There was a great selection of guests, and many of the guests had no problem with distancing or touching, so hugs (and other poses) were back on the menu, and that was just awesome!
