Challenge #4

In your own space, make a list of things that you wish existed in fandom or elsewhere, and/or that you'd like someone to create or do for you. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I only operate within the Supernatural fandom and now that the show is finished, my hope is simply that the fandom doesn’t dwindle too much.  I would love to see challenges continue, fanfiction and fan art to carry on being produced and conventions to continue.

Supernatural gave me ten of the best years of my life, and a story as powerful as the Winchester story, with characters as wonderful as Sam, Dean, Castiel, Bobby et al should never be allowed to simply fade into history.

 

Fandom review 2021

So, we thought 2020 was bad, then 2021 stepped up to the plate. In some ways it was a little better than 2020, and in other ways it was profoundly worse.

The Supernatural fandom, and fandom in general was dealt an irretrievable blow in April 2021 when we lost jj1564.  The enthusiasm, friendship and joy that she brought to the fandom and to her friends is sorely missed and will never be forgotten.

But this post is not here to dwell on the negatives, I’m only going to focus on the fandom positives of the year. So, here goes…
