In our village we have a lovely coffee shop called Randall's which turns into a wine bar on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Over the last few years, Mr D and I have made it our regular Friday evening haunt; a nice way to end the working week, begin the weekend, enjoy some good food and wine, and just chill out together for a couple of hours with no distractions.

A couple of weeks ago, I just happened to mention to the owner in passing that Mr D was celebrating his big birthday this weekend, and when we walked in this weekend, this was the sight at our regular table that greeted us ...
