Well this was a Supernatural portrait I never thought I'd end up doing; firstly because whoever thought that Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be turning up at Asylum 14 in eight weeks time?  And secondly because, to be honest, John Winchester is not a character I have any particular fondness for.

That said, I'm so looking forward to meeting JDM - he sounds like an absolute honey!

He really, REALLY came out well! I don't look at this piece and see "JDM," this is absolutely, 100% John Winchester. I know exactly which reference you used, yet you've added something that wasn't there in the original photo -- captured a sense of melancholy that we never really got to see on Show. (Perhaps he's thinking of Mary?)

In other words, this is gorgeous work and I love it! ♥
