24. My perfect date would be with someone who is good to talk to, funny and intelligent (if they were good-looking that's a bonus, but not a deal-breaker). We'd go somewhere that we could talk and get to know each other, so not the cinema or a nightclub, and it would hopefully be something to do with a shared interest - maybe history, nature or sci-fi or something like that. We'd end up in a nice restaurant that does good, hearty food, and share a bottle of wine. Whether things moved on from there would depend on how WELL we got to know each other ;)
31. I feel most proud and happy in myself when people compliment me for what I can do, not what I look like. Obviously, it's nice to be told you look nice, but I'm under no illusions that I'm any raving beauty, so I don't expect it. It boosts me no end to be told I'm clever or imaginative or well-read, or that I'm fun and game for a laugh. I hope I'm all those things!
35. I'm very insecure in being afraid of offending people. Tact and diplomacy are not behaviours that feature highly in my personal skills-set, and so often I say something or write something then I sit there torturing myself about all the ways that I could have caused offence!
