Three Positive Things Meme

Second day:

I've been out of circulation for the last couple of days, so the second day of my positivity meme is going to cover the last 48 hours.




1. My phone died on Wednesday night which, although annoying, wasn't a shock because it's been on the way out for a few weeks. So,on Thursday I went out and bought a new phone and - here's the positive stuff - I set it up all by myself! I didn't have to ask Mr D or my friends once to help me set up the email and the wireless and download my apps and ringtones.

That may not sound like any great shakes, but trust me, for me that is a big achievement!

2. Good weather, good food, good wine, good company.

3. Special Friends.

It's a fabulous, amazing country, every bit as beautiful as you see in the movies. We've spent, all in all, about six weeks over there in two visits, and been lucky enough to see a fair bit of the North Island.

We're very fortunate because we have so many friends and contacts over there, we have 11 households that we can stay with, so it really reduces the cost of travelling there.

South Island is on my wish list because that's where a of of the true wilderness is; but because all our friends are based around Wellington and Napier, in the North Island, we've not had the time to get down south yet!

Oh wow, how fantastic! I really really wanna go, so does Steve, it also helps that the fantastic wings' is from there, but we've always wanted to visit, it's the cash issue though. I mean it's expensive by all accounts, but it's on our bucket list!

It's balls when your phone doesn't work, and such a relief to have one up and working again! It really is a big thing.

I haven't nominated anyone yet, because I was trying to figure out which of my f-list has and hasn't done it, but I think I might just make it a free for all!

In terms of phone apps, sounds like you are way ahead of me. My smart phone is much smarter than me. I just use it for phone calls, pictures and alarms. Anything else is beyond me.
