100 Days of Happiness - Day 77

I worked a Dapplegrey show today.  Unfortunately, the forecasted torrential rain turned up right on cue, keeping people away and eventually closing the show early, so not a particularly profitable show, but some interesting speculative approaches, so we will see what they come to!

But ... early in the day before the stupid rain turned up, the organisation that run the show were going around giving out balloons and they gave one to DG!


I would like to point out here, that they didn't give one to ME.
Pah!

Thank you for the balloon and the kind words - it's such a shame that the weather was so vile. I did this show last year and there were probably less than half of the numbers here today.

Thankfully my pictures didn't get damaged, but the marquee was starting to drip and the ground was becoming waterlogged, so if I hadn't packed up when I did, I can't imagine it would have been long before I started seeing some water damage. :(

*Hugs* Ahh poor you, rained on and not getting a balloon it just wasn't your day was it? the joys of an English Summer are well few on occasions. Here's hoping the weather is much better for your next show and you manage to sell lots of those lovely pictures of yours.

Ah yes, the joys of an English summertime - the killer was, today I was unpacking the car, and it was so frigging bright and sunny, I was wearing sunglasses.
My language was very anglo-saxon, I can tell you!
perhaps Sasha might want a portrait one day?????
