To Sleep, Perchance to Dream ...

Okay, so you may by now have a suspicion that I am slightly enamoured of one certain Dean Winchester.

You know, just a bit, sort of. Sometimes.

The fact is that our beautiful boy is irresistable under any circumstances.  Whether he's fighting, digging up a grave, flirting, eating, breaking our hearts with the one perfect tear, driving his baby, teasing Sammy or even standing in the corner scratching his ass, he's a vision of unparalleled loveliness that's almost painful to behold.

There is, however, one particular occasion upon which I believe he surpasses even his usual standards of ovary melting perfection.








Eyelashes.  That is all.

Dean can sleep sitting up as well as lying down.



Sometimes he can't make his mind up and does them both at the same time.

So there are lots of ways to enjoy sleeping Dean; on his back ...

Or, um ... uh ?



Dean and his eyelashes sleep very soundly



But those eyelashes are heavy and make waking up very hard work



Dean looks good in yellow



He looks good in pain too



It's those eyelashes again.



I've never been jealous of a pillow before.



*Sigh* I hate pillows.

This isn't FAIR! Why doesn't he sleep like normal guys, so he can be somewhat less attractive? Where's the window-rattling snoring, the drooling, the stealing of covers, the kicking/punching/arm flinging, the smelly feet? Where's the farting?!

Can't he sleep like the rest of us mere mortals, instead of torturing us with this perfection that even follows him into unconsciousness?!

And then he sleeps with his shirt off sometimes ... just ...

Well, I think in terms of the farting, Jared owns the copyright on that, but as for the rest; yes, I totally agree how can he be so gorgeous, not only asleep but when he wakes up too. I wake up looking like something the Winchesters hunt!

Ahh there he is, one of my favorite kinks teh sleeping Dean. Odes have been written about how perfectly he sleeps, like you I blame the eyelashes.

Is there nothing this man doesn't do perfectly? He looks so angelic, with all his cares gone if only for a little while. And form a shallow point of view, it does mean we fan girls get to ogle him without fear of being peppered with rock salt!

Makes me remember way-back-in-the-when Jensen was on Jimmy Fallon's late night and the actress whose name I can't remember blurted out "do you curl your eyelashes?"

Bemused, he said "no." and looked like he'd never had anyone say that to him before.

I have a serious weakness for sleeping Dean. I was, after all, a sleeping Dean that got me hooked on the show in the first place - I am, of course, referring to that long camera pan at the beginning of Phantom Traveller!

I do love a sleeping Dean as well. There is just such an innocence we see when he sleeps that we don't see otherwise. And YES!!!!! that long camera pan up his back in 1x04 is one of THE BEST moments EVER!!!
