So, today's prompt is for something I've done for a minor character.  It occurred to me that I don't write a lot for the more minor characters in the show, but here's a little drabble I wrote a while back in honour of our sweet and lovable Garth.

Hugging his beer, Garth sat watching the master at work.

Dean was sitting with a pretty blonde who hung on his every word; gazing at him like she wanted to dive in and eat him with a spoon.

He watched Dean's every nuance; from the suggestive tilt of an eyebrow, to the quirk of those cupid-bow lips as charming words of admiration and surrender slipped, smooth as honey, from them.

Garth drained his beer; he'd seen enough; he could totally do this.

Leaning languidly over to another young blonde, he smiled. "Hey baby; if I said you had a beautiful body …"

*SMACK*

LOL. I guess it takes more than just learning techniques at the master's feet to succeed. Poor Garth. Which just goes to show, we can learn techniques and tricks from others, but in the end, we all still just gotta be ourselves.

Sitting next to Dean, heck no, he has no chance. Unless of course there are girls out there that would prefer someone more Garth's style. I wouldn't give him a second glance, but I am sure there are some women out there that might find him more attractive. You never know.
