Drabble: What a Hoot

So, update from Dizzoland...  Mr D is all recovered from his recent brush with Shingles and went back into the office today.  Thank you for all your lovely well wishes :)

In other news, I wrote a little drabble this weekend - this is it.
(The challenge word was 'hoot')




WHAT A HOOT
Characters: Sam and Jack
Rating: K+

"Hey Sam."

"Hey Jack! How was your weekend away with Dean?"

"Oh, It was great… kind of, I guess."

"Kind of?"

"Yeah. Dean said he was going to take me to an owl-themed restaurant."

"Owl themed? I've never heard of one of those."

"Me neither, I was excited 'cause owls are cool. But when we got there, there were no owls."

"Oh."

"Yeah, Dean said they must have all flown away."

"Did he now?"

"Yes, there were just lots of ladies wearing not many clothes."

"Right … excuse me Jack."

"DEAN! PLEASE TELL ME YOU DIDN'T TAKE JACK TO FREAKING HOOTERS!"
