Last week I was sitting on the couch petting Juniper on my lap.  Then she decided that she'd had enough of my lap and set her sights on the back of the couch, so off she went ...

Using my face as a stepping stone on her way up...

Glad to report that damage was barely noticeable the following morning, and the tiny ittle scratch that I was left with is now fully healed!

That reminds me of my guinea pig scratches. She got me badly on the inner wrist while trying to clip her nails & I had a very concerned friend, who kept asking me if I was depressed... ^^;

Yes, their claws were clipped about three weeks before this happening. They'll need them done again soon as they're not wearing their claws down running around outside now that it's so cold and dark!

I don't understand how you can let the bunnies run around outside. Are they fenced in? Wouldn't it be instinctive to want to run away if there's nothing to stop them? Or do they know where home is and want to stay near it?

Our garden is completely fenced in, and the fences all sit on concrete so there's no danger of the bunnies tunnelling under them.
We still have to sit outside and keep an eye on them when they're loose because of cats or birds of prey, but they have complete freedom in the garden.
