It's a Bunny Lunchtime....

We're always looking for ways to bring a bit of variety and enrichment into the bunnies' lives, and yesterday, we gave them their lunch, not in a bowl, but on a chain, in the manner of a shish kebab.  It was a like a little puzzle for them to figure out, and made them work a bit harder for their lunch!

Here's a little snippet of yesterday's lunchtime ... it was definitely entertaining! :D

So cute. They were sure excited to get it at the beginning. It's interesting watching them chew for endless amounts of time on whats in their mouth before getting something else. If we humans incorporated the same thing we'd never get done with our meals.

They really savour their meals, and he makes me laugh because he picks out his favourite morsels and goes to the other side of the run with them because he knows she's such a greedy little piglet and wouldn't think twice about grabbing it off of him!

Yes, the other two kebabs were wooden nibble toys rather than food, but yes, they got through them after a couple of weeks!
