Day 13 - A fictional book

Taking my favourite fictional book, Watership Down, out of the equation, there can be only one other for me.

It is, actually a trilogy (in five books, but we won't go into that) that covers the destruction of Planet Earth, the World's Worst Poetry, the Restaurant at the end of the Universe, the inter-galactic origins of the game of Cricket, the Infinite Improbability Drive, the Ultimate Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything, a Two-Headed Politician, a Paranoid Android, and a Bowl of Petunias.

I am, of course, talking about The Hitch Hikers' Guide to the Galaxy.
