Flyby Hello!

I'm just checking in after a busy weekend, while I'm having a bit of downtime on the ferry home!

It's been busy, but in the best kind of way.  My dapplegrey art show has been wonderful this weekend - today has been storming; I've barely sat down and - to be honest - am completely knackered, but the dapplegrey art coffers are well and truly replenished!

Best of all, this little dude headed off to a wonderful new home today...



As a nice diversion, my Mum's younger sister and niece came over for the weekend, and we were able to catch up for a family meal on Saturday night at a nice Pub in Newport called the Bargeman's Rest (one of my favourites, and my recommendation!)



So yes, all-in-all a nice weekend, to round off a wonderful GISH week!

He was the only original but I sold about a dozen prints and about 30 little things like cards and keyrings!

Out of interest, how much to you charge for your prints? I have an opportunity to have an artist stand at the Newcastle Elmers farewell weekend so I'm thinking of getting some wares together to sell. :D

My prints vary depending on size. They're all mounted with a backboard, and sealed in a polypropylene bag. The 8"x10" are mounted up to size 10"x12" and they are my smallest size, they go for £15.00. The 16"x12" prints are mounted up to "20x16" and they are my largest size and I sell them for £28.00. There are three sizes inbetween that go for £20.00, £22.00 and £25.00.

I hope you get the opportunity to take the artist stand - it would be a great new experience for you!

Give some thought to prices for originals, and be prepared to talk about commissions. Have a pricing structure in mind in case you get asked.
