You're right, it is funny how you can get attached to inanimate objects, but the fact is I've been in the Supernatural fandom since May 2010, and my Vaio has been with me since (about) September 2010, so it has been my faithful companion almost entirely through my amazing and fantastic fandom journey. Unfortunately Sony don't make laptops any more, so whatever I get will be something different, so yes, it is a bit of a leap in the dark!
