Three truths and a lie, can you guess which?

xxxxx

I was once asked to draw a picture of an exploding nuclear power station

I was on a train in London back in the 70’s and saw a giant floating pig over Battersea Power Station because it was the day that Pink Floyd were shooting their iconic album cover picture

I was in a bank in Berlin on the day Elvis Presley died

Mr D’s father’s name was Walter Disney

Have any weird and wonderful facts about yourself you feel like sharing? (Or lies that sound true?)

All interesting and fantastical happenings. Which is a lie?? I'd go for the Berlin one. My first thought was Mr. D's father's name is Walt Disney, but that is so obvious, I'd say its truth. (Watch that one be the lie.)

I find truths are more fun

1. My mother was 42 years old when she had me - 17 years after having middle sister Joyce.

2. My grand-uncle Lawrence was a timer for the bobsled run at the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics and was brought to cut the ribbon for the opening of the 1980 track.

3. My Aunt Beverly Grimes raced stock cars in the 1950's

4. My cousin Jeff dodged the draft in the 1960's by hiding out on an island in the Thousand Islands that was just on the border between the US and Canada.

Yes, you're right! I was actually in a bank in Athens on the day EP died. I was nine years old and on holiday with my grandparents, and I had absolutely no idea who Elvis Presley was!

Wow, that's some great family history - 17 years is a huge gap between siblings. My mum's family were quite widely spaced and I think her eldest and youngest sisters are about 18 years apart, but there are 3 children, including my Mum between them!

Nope, sorry. Mr D's dad was called Walter! The lie was no. 3, I was in a bank in Athens, not Berlin on the day Elvis died!

I think he was probably too drunk to realise most of the time!!
(Barry wasn't close too his Dad!)
