Snnowflake Challenge - day 1

Day 1 - Talk about why you're participating in Snowflake and how the challenge has affected you.

I participated in the snowflake challenge for the first time last year, and I found a great way to kickstart the brain after the Christmas and new year break.  Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish the challenge last year, I can't remember the reasons why, but I got as far as day 13.  So, I'm challenging myself to finish the job this year!

Thank you, and hello! It's always nice to make connections.
TBH, I'm not all that active on Dw, I'm much more active on Livejournal, and just tend to import over here from time to time, to keep a back up.

I don't know if you're on Lj, but I'm Dizzojay there too.
