Day 24 - a song by a band you wish were still together.

You all knew I was going to pick a Queen song for this one, didn't you?

I know technically, Queen are still together in one incarnation or another, but for me, Queen will always be Freddie Mercury and Freddie Mercury will always be Queen, so in my eyes, THAT band is no longer together.

I have had the wonderful privilege today meeting up in London with my gorgeous fandom buddies, milly_gal , deanshot , and  theymp. I never forget how lucky I am to have people like them and many others in my life and so there's one particular Queen song that fits the occasion perfectly ...

I agree with you. Queen is not Queen without Freddie Mercury. They can strut any singer out there in place of him, but for me, it won't be Queen.

This is a lovely choice of song. I actually, had never heard it before. Good song.
