I've been re-watching S5 and the doomed romance between Dean and Jo is so sad - that last sweet kiss he gives her as she's dying makes me bawl every time. I wish they'd had the chance to get together, even once. They both deserved some happiness.
And yes, Sarah was perfect for Sam and it was a shame that relationship wasn't explored further.
