Ha ha yes, the quality of writing on there is certainly no better than FF.net in spite of the vetting - the only thing I liked about it was you could add a banner to your story to jazz it up a bit which you can't on FF.net, but you can do that and more on LJ so... I just ended up feeling you have to be in with the 'in crowd' on there and to be honest, I just can't be arsed.
