You know, I adore my parents.  I love them dearly and would walk through hell for them without a second thought.

And then my Mum phones me five minutes before the end of the season finale to see how my trip to Rome was and for a chat ...

You're a better daughter than me; I don't think I would have answered the phone. I would have just called her back in five minutes. I would have reasoned, "even if it's a life or death emergency, what could I possibly do about it from here? And why isn't she calling 911? Whatever it is can wait five minutes, surely? She'd have to wait at least that long anyway for the ambulance."

That was nice of you to pick up the phone. Like the others, when anyone calls me during my watch time of Supernatural I do not answer the phone. No way. They can call back or leave a message. No one will interrupt my SPN time, I don't care who they are.
