Feb. 14th, 2022 09:21 pmMy two Goodddaughters live in New Zealand, and the younger of the two, Amy, works for an eventing stable. This stable houses some horses that compete for New Zealand at national level, and Amy works as a groom for them.
As part of her job, she also gets the opportunity to develop her riding skills and even to compete. Obviously not at national level, but Amy is already a very accomplished rider, and she's still young, so who knows??
Amy is 20 on the 22nd of March and as a surprise, her Mum (my friend Janet) has commissioned me to draw a picture of her riding Enzo, one of the horses she looks after, and the one she competes on when she gets the chance. Unsurprisingly, she adores Enzo!
