Happy Post: What a lucky Dizzo I am

I haven't been around on social media much this week.  After getting back after our weekend away on Monday, I went back to a very busy week at work.  In between times there were a couple of art commitments I wanted to concentrate on.

Having said that, that doesn't mean it's been a bad week.  Quite the reverse, actually.

Earlier this week, I had a lovely surprise in work when these were delivered:



I was mystified.  It wasn't a special occasion, and so I couldn't think of any reason why I should get flowers.  All the girls were asking me if they were from Mr D.  Oh how I laughed!  Mr D doesn't do flowers; I don't think he's bought me flowers for 20 years. Now I'd probably think he was having an affair if he bought me flowers!

In the end, it turned out to be my boss, Lisa, congratulating me on completing my course recently!

Then, this morning, the postman came and delivered an envelope which was from the lovely metallidean_grl.  In it was the Jensen-cover TV guide that she'd promised to get me, but also a couple of extras, a Team Free Will cover TV guide and a 300 episode souvenir copy of Entertainment Weekly.  I wasn't expecting either, so that was another wonderful surprise!

So yes, I'm definitely a happy Dizzo!!

I mentioned in my last post that I had a couple of art commitments on the go this week. 

One, I can't show you yet, but the other is the third and final piece of artwork that I'm doing for my Torchwood convention next week.  This is Rhys Williams, Gwen's cute and cuddly, long-suffering boyfriend/fiance/husband.
