Fun with Alpacas

I'm about to start a new picture for the dapplegrey art stall, and since the autumn, a picture I've had in my mind is an alpaca.  They seem to be popular at the moment, and they are such fun, quirky animals, I think this is going to be a fun picture!

So, earlier today, I was having a little trawl around Google looking for some reference pictures of cute alpacas, and I came across this ...

Snowflake Challenge - Day 13

Day 13 - In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.

Okay, so some of these are a bit wishy-washy, but I have to be realistic and remember that I hold down a full time job in adition to all of these! 

This is a milestone year for me, age-wise, so I've split my real life goals into everyday ones and milestone ones.



Fandom goals

Write more words than I did last year, ie: more than 27,000
Take part in at least one new challenge, either arting or writing (I will fulfil this as I intend to do the 'Quicky Bang' that's doing the rounds at the moment)
Maintain and build interest and activity in the two communities that I co-mod on Livejournal, spn_bigpretzel  and  spn_on_parade

Art goals

Produce three new pictures for my art collection for the summer show season.
Look at at least one new trading avenue for dapplegrey art
Draw at least four more supernatural pictures for the convention season in May

Real life goals

Everyday goals
Support Mr D through the big changes in his life
Lose my pre-Christmas weight
Get my arse back in the gym (will have to wait on this one, as gym membership is on hold while Mr D is between jobs!)

Milestone year goals
Have at least one exciting or interesting new experience for my milestone year!
Do something really worthwhile for a good cause that doesn't just involve donating money

100 Days of Happiness - Day 7

I saw this when I was trawling Amazon yesterday...

I've obviously searched for stuff relating to Misha Collins in the past and this popped up on my recommendations.

It's a classic; so abysmally bad, it's brilliant, and it was only £3.99!

So it's just had to come home.



Mr D believes that we should save it for our first weekend after we've finished doing dry January, when we've got a bottle of wine on the go.  As he so eloquently said, "it's epic viewing any time, but it's even better when you're pissed - it actually starts to make sense!"
