What's that? Oh yeah, it's real life ...
Apr. 14th, 2016 11:41 pmOh heck, it's been one of those weeks. New job is keeping me more than busy - not that I'm complaining, mind you; it's challenging and absorbing, and I got told yesterday by my new Manager than I'm picking up it up really well and that she has complete confidence in me. After five months of being ignored and totally unappreciated by Gaz, I can't tell you how much that meant to me!
On top of that I've suddenly developed a social life! Three evenings out this week, a delicious birthday meal with my lovely con buddy Viv on Monday, a great evening carrying out a complete and total character assassination of dicknob ex-manager with ex-colleague Sue tonight, and off to Woking to meet my friend Jane tomorrow night.
Then off to the Isle of Wight on Saturday to catch up with my parents!!!
Bazza and I have just been 'ships that pass in the night' this week. We spent a full 20 minutes together today, and that's 20 minutes longer than we managed to spend together yesterday, when he had a night out, and I missed the few minutes he was at home because I worked late!
This whole real life thing, I tell you what; it's bloody exhausting!
Anyway, before I call it a night, here's some baby Jensen ... because, well, why not?
