I have turned another to the dark side!

It's been rather nice having this few days off with not much planned.

Admittedly, the stupid lurgy more or less obliterated my Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from a social point of view, but I've still had a nice break.

Pencil Fixation Strikes Again

My lovely Dad knows I have a fixation with all things pencil.  Not just with the things themselves, but with anything pencil-themed.  Given that he's the one I got my artistic leanings from, he's a happy enabler too.

He bought this little piece of pencil prettiness up for me at the last craft fayre I worked with the dapplegrey art stall:

I said I'd had some time off to chill over the last couple of days, and part of that included spending a few hours having a very satisfying sort out of my office (yes, sad, I know).

And this finally means I've managed to hang the two lovely pictures milly_gal has done for me on my newly excavated walls!
