Something different for dapplegrey art
Oct. 23rd, 2014 08:42 pmI'm really happy that I've managed to rekindle the instructional side of dapplegrey art, and got a couple of tutorials booked this Autumn (having gone a couple of years without doing any).
The tutorial I did last week was at the Frimley and Camberley Society of Arts and the subject was 'Animals in Pastel'. It was a nice sized group (about 20 people) and they asked lots of good, interesting questions to keep me on my toes!
I chose a kitten as the subject because it was something quite simple, and I had a decent chance of delivering something close to a finished product. In the end, I didn't quite finish, but I managed to get about three quarters of the way there.
Here's the link to the review that the FCSA did for my tutorial.

( And here, after a little more work is the finished product. )
