This same thing happened to me (sort of) the other week. In fact, from what they've said, it sounds like it might be the same person doing it, as they've used the same phrases ('bye trolls' and 'retared').
I've been in fandoms for 13 years now, and writing fanfic for 9 years, but I had never experienced any kind of trolling or rude reviews until the incident other week.
The troll first posted on my fanfiction forum, then when one of the mods questioned their post, they started posting rude reviews on my friend's story, and then sent abusive PMs to myself and each of the mods on the forum!
I was at work when it all happened, but I came home to the following PM: Subject: your a crappy writer and your a dumb bitch bye!! and dean is the best and spn is still a great show! Message: Bye dumb b***
