100 Days of Happiness - Day 69

I haven't been around online much over the last few days.  There's no sinister reason for this, it's just been too hot to sit in the house, so I've been spending my time sitting out in the garden. As I can't see my laptop screen in bright sunlight, or keep the battery charged outside, I just haven't been spending time online, so I've been using my time in other constructive ways ...

Some of you may or may not know that I'm going to a Spartacus convention in Paris in October.  That being the case, I decided that I needed to start producing some material for autographs, and here is the first finished product:

As long as you can handle a fair bit of gore and nudity, and a LOT of bad language :)

I have seen bits and pieces (wink wink!) of it, and always meant to watch it. I can handle pretty gory stuff - can't be worse than The Walking Dead! And bad language doesn't bother me if it's in the right context, and I'm sure their language would've been colourful!

There is a LOT of gore, but it's presented in a kind of 'graphic novel' type way, rather than realistic gore like in the walking dead.

'Jupiter's Cock' or 'Juno's C*nt' are Batiatus, the main character's expletives of choice! :D

Thank you but no, today was a bit of a washout. Badly organised show, where hardly anyone turned up, then the drizzle closed in and the few people who were there disappeared, so I packed up at lunchtime, and decided to come home tonight instead of tomorrow.

It's just one of those things - the only way to know if a show will work for me is to try it. This one didn't, even without the rain, just not the right clientele. So lesson learned, I won't bother with it again next year. :)

I'm sorry to hear that, such a shame after your success last week, but at least you're home earlier - and you know to avoid it next year!
