Lockdown hair... the love child of a dead yak and a badger.
When my poor hairdresser opens, he's going to need a hedge trimmer and a rabies shot to get through this lot. 😳

All the longer hairstyles. Kinda crazy. I haven't been to my hair dresser yet. She is open and I could schedule an appointment, but right now I just don't want to go through the rigamarole it takes to go there. So, I'm kinda waiting it out a little bit to see if we can go to level 2 to where I won't have to wear a mask. I get claustrophobic with those things. My hair is longer than its been in years. Yikes! Good luck with taming your mop. They are unruly gits when they get to a certain length. ;)

Hairdressers here in the UK are provisionally opening on the 4th July, so I've got in ahead of the crowd and booked an appointment for the 4th. I've had the same hairdresser for nearly 20 years, and I want to make sure he can fit me in as soon as possible. He's going to have a fit when he sees this!

But he'll have fun cutting it, if he's like my hair dresser. Usually it is best to cut your hair about every 5 or 6 weeks. I'm way past 6 weeks, but thankfully the cut is so good, my style is keeping shape, so far.

Your almost there, the 4th is around the corner. Good luck maintaining it till then.

My hair has a life of it's own. You can guarantee it will curl up or stick out in every direction except the one I want it to!

Ahh, the joys of lockdown hair! At the moment mom looks like a demented Tribble, and Steve's flicking his hair out of his eyes every thirty seconds. I'm feeling a bit smug because all I need to do is keep mine in a pony tail.

You should let it grow a bit more and see what happens - is it naturally curly?

Yes it's naturally wavy. When I was a teenager it was really naturally curly, like tight perm curly, but as I've got older and gone grey it's lost the tight curls and got more of a loose wave. The thing is it's really thick and really unruly!

I've tried growing it before and when I have it professionally styled it looked lovely, but with my ham-fisted attempts to mangle some kind of shape out of it, I just looked like I had a haystack on my head!

Your hair looks a bit longer than I remember it, but it still looks very neat and tidy - I'm impressed!
