Happy Post: 800 up!

So this wekend I seem to have reached something of a milestone.  Well, either that, or I have far too much time on my hands ...

Anyway, tomorrow, I will post my 800th fic over on Fanfiction.net, my very first online home.

Probably about 70% of them are drabbles, but whatever - 800 stories over 9 years, whether they be 100 words or 20,000 is an achievement that I'm pretty darn proud of!

Anyhow, just in case anyone is interested - here's my 800th story ...

Dean learns something new about angels every day.  Castiel, on the other hand, already knows eveything he needs to know about Dean ... like what an annoying little shit he can be!

WINGS AIN'T WHAT THEY USED TO BE

"Damnit Cas! I keep finding feathers everywhere … clogging up the sink in the bathroom, in the corridor, on baby's dash, under the table … What the hell's going on?"

"I am sorry Dean, my wings are going though a period of regeneration. It happens every couple of millenia – it is part of an angel's natural physical cycle."

"Wait – Cas? Are you shedding?"

"What? No, not exactly …"

"Having yourself a full-on angelic moult?"

"Yes, uh … no!"

"Do we need to get you anything for it? You know, shampoo? Conditioner?"

"No, Dean that is not necess …"

"Flea powder?"

"There are no vermin in my wings Dean."

"Seriously, you and Sam should get together, he's got a hairdryer and about fourteen thousand hairbrushes – you'd love it. You could braid his hair, he could braid your wings!"

"I do not need any brushing or braiding for my wings, they go through this cycle regularly, and are quite capable of maintaining themselves."

"Hey, what if your wings went bald Cas? Could they go bald? Ew - they'd be all pink and shiny!"

"Dean, if we're talking about pink and shiny; have you taken off your shirt recently?"

"Wow, moulting AND bitchy! So is this Angelic cycle like PMS then? Do I need to buy ice-cream?"
