It's easy to forget here in Europe that - on the whole - we aren't exposed to violent weather like hurricanes and tornadoes. I can't imagine how terrifying it must be :(
Is it me or are the disasters ramping up to ten thousand this year? I've spent the entire year worried for some part of the world and my friends in it. *hugs everyone who needs it*
It has been a hiorrible year all round. As well as the big disasters, I still can't get my head around the number of national treasures we've lost - Lemmy, David Bowie, Victoria Wood, Terry Wogan, Alan Rickman, Ronnie Corbett, Caroline Aherne ... and they're just the British ones :(
I sobbed my heart out the other day. Watched Alice Through The Looking Glass and on the very end there's a dedication, "Dedicated to our friend Alan Rickman, 1946 - 2016" I swear, tears and tears and tears!
