100 Days of Happiness - Day ... oh, who knows ... 13, I think.
I'M BACK!!!!
A combination of GISHWHES, work and weekend art commitments has kept me busy, busy busy, and I've seriously missed my Livejournal time over the last week. I've been dipping in and out via my phone whenever I can, and there are definitely a few posts I will catch up on, so bear with me!!
Anyhoo, this last week has given me so many reasons to be happy (and one reason not to be happy ... *points to streaming cold and hacking cough which is now in it's ninth day and still going strong*)
So I thought I'd do one of those 'five reasons to be happy' things for today's entry to this meme because, well, yeah ... I've got five good reasons to be happy!
1. GISHWHES. Fantastically fun and totally insane. So proud of my fabulous team made up of the following superstars:![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
amberdreams, milly_gal, theymp, xlittleangx, Adele, Elisa, threesidedorchid, Vickii, Alex, Hannah, Mary, Dora, Nicole, and Danielle and not forgetting inaluable assistance and cheerleading from jj1564. Whatever happens point-wise, we know we knocked it out of the park, and had a blast doing so. I'll do a dedicated post on this later on.
2. I've had my first Etsy order for three of my Supernatural prints! Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester and Bobby Singer will be winging their way to Australia by the end of this week!
3. The first of my Summer art shows was a great success - couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. It was lovely to catch up with familiar faces, stallholders and customers alike, and I sold an original to a delightful couple who have been staunch supporters of dapplegrey art virtually since day one. They have four of my originals now, and they constantly tell me how much they are loved and appreciated.
4. Commission requests are rolling in thick and fast and if they all come to fruition, I'm already fully booked for Christmas!
5. JUS IN BELLO. I got all the photo ops I requested - that means I have a Jensen photo op to look forward to! Last year, because Sky broadband appears to be powered by a hamster on a turbine, I missed the boat on all the Jensen ops I applied for. So this year, I threw myself on the mercy ofheavenli24 and her super duper broadband and she came up with the goods spectacularly! So, a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to her!
So, all in all, it's a good time to be Dizzo!
