100 Days of Happiness - Day 5

Enabling my cappuccino addiction makes me very happy ...

Although I wasn't very impressed when the young girl behind the counter wrote down my order for a croissant as 'quosan'.
I don't blame the kid, she's trying her best and was very helpful.  It did make me want to smack her teachers though, if that's the standard of spelling they're releasing into the world!!!

Quosan. Um. That's what you might call creative spelling!!! How on earth would anyone guess what she meant... You could have ended up with some sort of chinese dish!

Even I know you don't spell croissants with a Q, and I'm utterly crap at spelling. Suddenly I don't feel quite so thick *G*.

I agree. The standard of spelling has really gone down hill. And what with all the shortened twitter and text talk, it's a shame how people aren't learning the proper spelling and usage of words.
