10 Day challenge - day 10

So I started off this challenge, 10 entries ago with a certain gentleman called Jensen who you may be vaguely acquainted with, so it would bring a lovely sense of symmetry for me to round off with the other J component of J2.




Now, whilst I absolutely see that Jared is a fine figure of a very handsome man, and a lovely person inside as well as out - who possibly couldn't love that beautiful smile, and that big heart - I can't honestly and truthfully say he's someone that I've ever had a crush on.

So, this last entry is going to be a slightly unusual one.

Although I am a Dean or Jensen girl through and through, I know that he is one half of something very, very special.  Bottled lightning I've heard it described as, and I would wholeheartedly stand behind that description. It's something that wouldn't exist without lovely Jared.

So the final love on my list is ...

J2.

I just love the way these two look together.  I love the way they interact; they finish each others' sentences; they tease each other mercilessly.  I love how unashamedly tactile they are with each other.  I love all the daft little things they do together just for the fans - the mockumentary, the silly BTS stuff, the Hillywood parodies, the drunken videos from their trailer, the harlem shake, the photoshoots, the pranking, I could go on ...

When all's said and done, and the lights go out on production on the 11th of September.  Yes, I'll miss the show.  I'll miss getting up early every Friday to download and watch it, but my DVD's will still be there.  What I'll miss, more than I can put into words, is J2.

J2 as a unit won't exist any more.  I know the boys will always be friends, but they'll be off doing separate projects, and living separate lives, (thankfully still coming together for the occasional convention).  That inseparable phenomenon J2 will cease to exist.  And that is what I'll miss more than anything else.

J2 may well be the biggest 'celebrity' love of my life!

Well said. So true, J2 are such a wonderful, rare phenomenon. They will always be friends and be close, but yea, the wonderfulness of J2 will never be the same as it was. Unless, of course, magic can strike twice and they are able to work together again in a show or move. Now, wouldn't that be lovely.

It would be lovely, but I'm sure I read or heard something where Jensen said he and Jared would probably never work together again unless it was on something Spn-related because he didn't think he could ever work with Jared and not see Sam. :(

I hadn't heard that, but it makes sense. After 15 years of calling Jared Sam, I'm sure it would be very hard for either of them to see a different character.
