I'm just dropping by to say hello.  I know I didn't get around to posting for two whole days and I feel like I've been away a lifetime!

No sinister reason, I spent the weekend working on my Summergen fic and riding my bike (in between showers).

Also, Mr D and I seem to have got ourselves into watching 'The Crown'.  It's been on my to-do list for a while now, and we watched our first episode Friday night, and it's bloody brilliant.  So there's been a certain amount of binge-watching going on!

So I hope you're all keeping fit and well: I love your faces, and I'll be back with some gratuitous Jensen very soon :)

In the meantime ... this is the sight that has been confronting the people of Lightwater for a few weeks now ...

The Crown lends itself very easily to binge watching, doesn't it? :) Excellent script, performances and direction!

They say not everyone can wear a hat. The same is even more true of a bicycle helmet but, I have to say, you pull it off very well! :D

The Crown is very good isn't it. We've made it toward the end of season 2, and I'm still really enjoying it. I thought Matt Smith is great as the Duke of Edinburgh!

Good for you for getting out and riding. Stay dry. If you had rain like we had this past weekend, you wouldn't have gotten very far inbetween showers. We had downpours almost the entire day. Crazy.

I absolutely adored The Crown. Just finished watching Season 3. So well done. So many thoughts about the royal family. Couldn't help wonder how much portrayed is factual and how much liberty they take.

The Crown is very good. It's difficult to know how completely accurate it is, particularly in terms of personal relationships etc, but as far as I can tell, they have been very true to life in terms of dates and events.

Well done on keeping up the bike riding, especially as I bet the roads are a bit busier now. I still haven't watched 'The Crown', Brenda's never fancied it as she thinks it's wrong to make up stuff about the Queen!!

It would be interesting to know exactly how factual the Crown is, like whether it's been authorised by Buck House or not. It seems very accurate in terms of events an timelines etc, but how accurate it is in terms of the personal and behind the scenes stuff, who knows?

Are you starting with Season 1? We started with Season 3 and have now gone back to 1.

What makes me crazy is that Jeff is not a binge watcher! We don't even watch one episode a night!!!!! *screams*

Yes, we started with season 1 and we're about 2/3rds of the way through season 2 now. We're bingewatching at a rate of 1 or 2 episodes a night, but watching midway through an episode and then stopping would drive me nuts!!!!
