Happy Post: A new TV Gem!

I've just finished watching Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes fo the first time.

I think I'm going to add DCI Gene Hunt, along with Han Solo and Dean Winchester, to my 'bad boys with a heart of gold that I love' list! :D

Which Life on Mars did you watch. I believe there was a UK version and an American version. I never saw the UK version, but did watch the American version, loved it and was sad they didn't extend its run another year.

So, I looked up Ashes to Ashes, and saw that Gene Hunt fro LoM makes an appearance in AtoA. With that, I think I answered my question that you watched the UK version. If you find it, you might want to try out the American version as well.

I only watched a few episodes of Life on Mars, I don't remember why but I bet it was because the TV channel messed up the schedule.

Yea, the US version aired 2008-2009. They only did 1 season, unfortunately. Jason O'Mara was in the Det Tyler role. I am a fan of O'Mara. I first discovered him in Band of Brothers and have been trying to follow everything else he has done. He's a very nice looking man - out of Dublin.
