Happy Post: Birthday shopping

It's Mr D's birthday next week!

Mr D loves science and physics and has, over the years, accumulated an impressive collection of T-shirts with scence jokes and puns on them.  Honestly, you'd never believe there were so many funnies to be had that involved periodic tables, noble gases, Schrodingers cat, kinetic energy, quantum physics and Bosun Higgs particles ... but he's got so many of them, it's an annual challenge for me to spot new ideas.

Anyway.  Because I'm an awesome wife, I've done it again - I've found Mr D something to add to his collection!

I hope you get it (I did, but only because I've watched the same science programmes Mr D does) ... but if not, google 'redshift'!

The Doppler effect, my favorite speed related effect.

Red shift, also a children's book by Alan Garner.

Okay, I googled it and saw blah blah blah, hee hee! But well done on finding a new one to add to Mr D's collection :)

OK - and there's a fact I didn't know :)

Heehee, yes, it makes perfect sense when Neil DeGrasse-Tyson explains it on TV, and then I read it in a book and I think '...duh?' :D
