Shoulder update ...

I have my first fracture clinic appointment tomorrow.  I wish I could say this was something new, and that I didn't know what was going to happen, but sadly I'm all too familiar with fracture clinics on account of the fact that this is the third time I have fractured my left arm!

I cracked my left wrist in 1995, smashed my lower left humerus and elbow in 2007, and now, in 2018, I have fractured my left humeral head.  I don't know what the outcome of tomorrow's appointment will be; I'm hoping it wlll show decent healing so far, and I'l be able to get some kind of timeline on how long full healing will take, and when I can start thinking about physiotherapy to really get the recovery moving.

At least the bruising seems to be fading nicely:

What the fracture clinic won't tell me, I imagine, is what cosmic force my left arm has apparently pissed off.  Because I don't know why, and I don't know who, but what I do know is that someone, somewhere really, REALLY hates my left arm!!!!

Hopefully physio can be started asap, so you can really get going on the mending *gentle hugs*

My physio underway now, I had my second session yesterday, and my mobility is increasing everyday. The physiotherapist doesn't want to start working on strength for a couple more weeks, until I've got about six weeks healing behind me. :)

O.o it sounds like such a long time, but it'll go in a flash :)
