A masterclass in portraying a badass monster hunter who has faced down death, pain and unspeakable horror with nary a flinch, trying to be invisible while recoiling in toe-curlingly awkward terror when confronted with the sexual proclivities of two teenage girls.
Jensen's facial expressions during that whole scene were just priceless. You would think someone with his sexual expertise and prowess wouldn't have a problem talking about sex, but with teens???? Yea, he recoils in horrid awkwardness. That scene made the whole episode for me. I haven't laughed that hard in a TV show or movie for a long time. So, kudos to Jensen for his wonderful comedic abilities and means in which to express himself. He is the master, IMHO.
I did love the little statement Sam threw in there. I chuckled with that one. I think they were surprised that Jody was willing to go there with them present. They probably thought it would be more appropriate with just the ladies. I wonder if that was in the script or ad libbed.
It's so evident how the directors say they always keep a cam on Jensen even when it's not "his" plan because they know he always stays in character and react even though he's silent.
Gosh. It's incredibly funny and yes, in the same time, it just goes to show how talented he is.
And how helplessely am I going to fangirl over him FOREVER. :D
Jensen really is an incredible actor. His comedic timing is brilliant and the moment he steps into any role he utterly inhabits it. This scene proves all of that absolutely. Plus he's really, really ridiculously good-looking and comes across as a decent, down-to-Earth guy! Jensen deserves all the awards! But I would love for him to win one that recognizes his acting ability. :D
If Emmys were given on the amount of love an actor generates, Jensen would win every year! His facial expressions are fantastic, and I loved that the big brave hunter wasn't getting involved in the teen sex-talk! I love his pouty bottom lip in the 6th gif! These gifs are wonderful, thanks for sharing :)
My thoughts every time I watch SPN! The things he can do with his face...and with his body! Sometimes only his shoulder or his elbow is in the frame, and yet there's something happening there which genuinely manages to touch you and adds to the character.
