First aid is so glamorous

So today I did the first day of my first aid requalification.  (I have to redo it every three years to keep the qualification live).

Never let it be said that first aid isn't glamorous ...

I'm passionate about first aid. I think it should be taught in schools. Everyone should leave school with a basic understanding of how to preserve a life. Even though you've let the raining lapse, the knowledge is still there. If you were ever called upon, you'd still be able to step up and help.

True. I did save a choking woman a few years ago by using the Heimlich maneuver.

I agree that basic first aid should be taught in every school, starting in the elementary years.
