With my current weight loss kick going on, this is my little gift to myself (although Mr D is allowed to use it too)!!   Mr D and I have been in our house 27 years, and this is the first time we've found a decent use for that funny little nook at the end of the landing! :D

That was the idea - so much nice cycling on this when it's rainy and windy. And I really appreciate not having to dodge traffic!

I 've been using it for two days now, I've done 4 miles a day, and it takes me 20 minutes or thereabouts. I'm going to start playing about with the resistance next week, but on the whole it's a quick and simple way of getting some exercise without having to get cold or wet, or having to schlep off down the gym!
