This is a set of questions from April 2021, all about driving!
1) Do you like to drive?I neither like or dislike driving. It’s just something I do because I need to, and I like to be independent, and not have to rely on public transport. I don’t like driving around town/city centres I don’t know, and I don’t like driving unlit roads in the dark.
2) Do you own (or have regular use of) a car? What kind is it?I do own a car. It’s a Renault Kangoo, which is one of those cars that doubles as a small van. It's turquoise, which is my favourite colour, and I have it because when I have craft fayres and art exhbitions etc, I have a lot of stuff to carry around.3) What is your favorite optional feature on a car?Air conditioning. I would never have a car without air conditioning again. 4) How much does gasoline currently cost where you live?I filled up last week and it was £1.34 per litre.5) What is the longest car trip you have taken?Mr D and I did a road trip through Europe in 2003. We went to Copenhagen in Denmark via France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany both ways. But Mr D did almost all of the driving. I have no sense of direction and no sense of spatial awareness, so I have never driven in countries that drive on the other side of the road because would be a pile up waiting to happen. For that reason, the only country, other than the UK, I have ever driven in is New Zealand. The furthest I have ever driven is a round trip of about 400 miles to a town called Southport in the north of England.

This is me in my big blue buddy coming home from the Isle of Wight last week!
